Henry and Mudge were playing kickball with some friends. Suddenly Henry remembered it was Mother's Day. Every year for Mother's Day he made his mother a funny lunch. One year he made a tomato snowman. Another year he made a sweet potato shoe. This year he and his dad made Henry's mom a pineapple sofa. She loved it!

My favorite part is when Henry and Mudge and Henry's father made lunch for Henry's mother because I wish that I had made it. Henry is my favorite character because he is creative. This story relates to my life because sometimes I forget when it is Mother's Day. The pictures help me see what the characters are doing.

I think others should read this story because it is an amazing book. It is funny and silly because people are forgetful.
