This book is about Mr. Fox and his family. Boggis, Bunce, and Bean were mean farmers who tried to dig him out of his home in the ground. They tried to starve him and his family out. But he got an idea. His idea was to go to Boggis and Bunce to get food from them, and went to Bean for cider. Do you think his idea will work? You should read the book to find out.
I really liked this book. Mr.Fox was a funny fox who made me laugh. My favorite part is when rat got so drunk that he was dizzy and fell. I laughed a lot at that part. I liked when Mr. Fox called the rat a saucy beast. My favorite character was Mr. Fox because he's smart and funny and he took care of his family.
I recommend this book because it's funny. I think first graders and up could read it.
