Doctor De Soto

I like the book “Doctor DeSoto” because it has a nice trick going along with it. The story is mainly about a dentist (which is Doctor DeSoto) who sees a fox as a patient. The doctor pulls his tooth out. He makes a gold tooth for the fox. Doctor DeSoto and his wife are nervous to give the fox his new tooth. They decide to be kind and help him.

My favorite part is when Doctor DeSoto glued the fox's mouth shut because it would be smart of him because Doctor DeSoto is a mouse and his patient is a fox that could eat him at any moment. My favorite character is Doctor DeSoto because he played an awesome trick on the fox. Doctor DeSoto says he's putting fluoride on the fox's teeth, but he's actually putting glue on them. Another reason he is smart is by using a stick to hold his mouth open when he pulls the tooth out and he also uses smart materials such as a ladder which he uses to reach the fox’s mouth. He also uses gas so the fox will not feel a thing.

I recommend this book to animal lovers and people who like fiction stories and tricks. I also think ages 3 - 10 would like it. So read and enjoy!
