The Chocolate Touch

John loves chocolate more than anything else in the world. But where can he get more? John Midas finds a coin on the sidewalk and immediately goes to a candy store to buy a box of chocolate. When he opens it up, it is one humongous piece of chocolate, the biggest he has ever seen! What do you think will happen to the chocolate and to John?

I like this book because I like chocolate and this book is all about chocolate, all kinds of chocolate. It’s a chocolate buffet! I feel like I connect with the book because, like John Midas, I don’t always like the food on my plate. This book is fun for me because it is a long book, I love long books, especially if I am enjoying the book because then I have more words to read. This book has a lot of cliff hangers. It leaves you excited and wanting to read more.

I recommend this book for kids who are in grades two and up because there are a lot of hard words in it and little kids would not understand them. Five stars for Chocolate Touch!
