Matilda is a young child who uses her brain wisely. When she is old enough her father sends her to school. She ends up with a nice teacher and they become good friends. Matilda's parents also aren't very nice either. All Matilda's parents care about is making money. So, for Matilda instead of listening to her rotten parents she uses a mind of her own.
I enjoyed reading this book. It was very funny. Find out what happens at the end. What happens to Matilda? Does she get the happy life that she wishes for? I recommend this book to people who like to use their imagination and like a good laugh.
