Three Cheers for Tacky

Tacky is an old bird. He lives with five other birds named Goodly, Lovely, Neaty, Angle and Perfect. They go to school. They learned to read and write. One day there was a special announcement. It was a great penguins cheering contest for blue ribbons. After school they practiced the cheer. Tacky can’t figure out the cheer. Finally, it is the day before the great penguins cheering contest. Can Tacky get it right one more time? Read the book to find out!

I recommend this book because it is funny and silly. The pictures are silly. I think Tacky is an interesting character because he is an old bird. Find out to see if Tacky got the cheer right and won the blue ribbon.

My favorite part of the story is when Tacky wins the blue ribbon and does a funny cheer. This story taught me to practice. It doesn't matter if you get things wrong and helps you get over stage fright.
