Have Fun, Molly Lou Melon

This story is about Molly Lou Melon and all the things her Grandma told her. Every time Molly Lou had a toy, Grandma would say, "Back in the olden days...." and she would tell Molly Lou how she would make her own toys and make her own fun. One day Gertie moved in. Gertie had fancy toys like a cell phone, but Molly Lou had tin cans. The girls played each day and they were amazed. If you want to know more about Molly Lou Melon, read this book.

I like this book because Molly Lou makes things like her Grandma did in the old days. I also think that this book could teach you how to make things too. The pictures looked real.

I would recommend kids in preschool up to second grade. It might give them good ideas about what to do with stuff around their house. They could build their own toys like Molly Lou did.
