Henry and Mudge and the Happy Cat

Henry and his father find a shabby cat. When they bring it home, it turns into a happy cat. The cat loves to lick Mudge's ears, eyes, and dirty paws. Henry and his father make posters to see if they can find his home. Finally they find his policeman owner and return the cat. At the end of the story, they find a big box of bones on their porch with a golden police badge.

Our favorite part of the story is the ending because Henry and Mudge get a package from Officer Dave. Our favorite character is Mudge because he is a good dog. This story relates to our lives because have received packages too. The pictures help tell the story.

We think others should read this story because it has a great ending.
