Nate the Great wants to eat monster cookies, but his mother can't find the recipe. He decides to find the recipe himself. First, he asks a few friends to find some clues. Then, he goes back and trips in a stack of recipes. Finally, he finds the recipe. It turns out his mother had scribbled it on the back of another recipe and that was the reason she could't find it.
My favorite part of the story is when Nate the Great finds Oliver because Oliver follows many people around. My favorite character is Nate because he acts like a detective. This story relates to my life because I have lost something before and have had to find it. This story has pictures and they help tell what's going on.
I think others should read this book because they will enjoy reading about how Nate finds the clues.
