Doctor De Soto was a mouse that was a dentist. He would not treat animals that hurt him. One day there was a fox with a bandage around his jaw. Doctor De Soto did not want to treat that fox but the fox convinced Doctor De Soto to help him. The fox wanted to eat Doctor De Soto and his wife. His wife made him a new tooth. Then the fox came back and the De Sotos were going to fix him but they tricked the fox. Instead of curing him they gave him sticky glue so he couldn't open him mouth. He couldn't eat them. Then the fox went home.
I liked Doctor De Soto because he was brave. I felt worried as I read the book because the fox wanted to eat Doctor De Soto and his wife. My favorite part was when the fox went home. I think Doctor De Soto is a fantastic book.
Other people should read this book because it is entertaining. I think this book is for second graders. It might interest readers because one of the characters is mean and the other characters are kind yet sneaky!
