“Ni hao!” Do you like books about books?? If you do then read The Year of the Book written by Andrea Chang and illustrated by Abigail Halpin.
To begin with, this story is about a girl named Anna who loves to read anywhere. She has to go to a Chinese group so she can learn Chinese and write it. My favorite part is when they dress up as little blue and little yellow for Halloween!!!
In addition, I like this book because it reminds me of myself. This reminds me of myself because I like to read anywhere. I also liked this book because I found some of the characters interesting. The characters I found interesting where Anna and her family because they spoke Chinese in this book. This story reminds me of something in my life. The thing that it reminds me of is my friend Nolan because he’s like the character in the story because they look alike and he likes to read a lot!
In conclusion I recommend this book to kids 8 through 12 years old because it was funny and good for older kids, but not teenagers. So read a book about a book!
