This is a story about a bunch of kids called the Herdsman's. They lie, steal and smoke cigars. The Herdsman's are the worst kids in the town. The funny part of this story is when they take over the Sunday school annual Christmas pageant. What a program it turns out to be.
This was a very good book. It was funny and I laughed a lot when I read it. I like books written by Barbara Robinson. I think she writes good books. They are very funny and never boring.
I think this is an excellent book for fourth graders to read because it is easy to understand and it is not hard to read.
