Max and Ruby are making cakes for their grandma’s birthday. Max made a mud and worm cake for grandma. Ruby made a raspberry fluffy iced cake. The problem was that Max kept spilling Ruby’s ingredients and had to go to the store four times! When Max was at the store he saw something he really wanted. You will have to read this book to find out what Max wanted so bad!
This book was so funny because Max kept spilling things and having to go to the store. This book reminds me that on Mother’s Day we baked a cake for my grandma. I loved the way the author described what Max wanted. I wanted to taste it too. It sounded yummy!
I think kids up through sixth grade should read this book. Adults and kids would like this book because it is entertaining and easy to read.
