Geronimo Stilton: Lost Treasure of the Emerald Eye

Geronimo Stilton and his sister find a treasure map at a restaurant. They are excited because they know it is going to take them on a crazy adventure. Their imaginations are going wild with what could happen. One adventure involved a giant trunk with four mice on it. They are floating in the ocean because their ship was wrecked by a big hurricane. Eventually they land on an island where the treasure map led them and they start looking for the treasure. Can they find the treasure and still get back home? They will have to go on many more adventures on the island to answer that question.

This is a book that will make anyone laugh out loud. Trap, Geronimo’s cousin, loves to play pranks and tricks just like I play tricks on my own siblings. The author’s writing style is easy to read and keeps you interested and moving forward. It also helps you become a better reader because it changes fonts and colors when there are words that are important to the story or are hard and there is an illustration to help you understand the meaning. This book is a part of a very big series and I like that I always have a book to go to. The books in the series are great to re-read too.

I would recommend this book to readers who like funny adventures. Geronimo Stilton always will find himself in unusual situations, locations, and with strange friends. You will definitely laugh out loud when you are reading. Be prepared to be told to be quiet!
