Harry Potter's parents were killed by the evil wizard Voldimort. Then Voldimort attempted to kill Harry, but Voldimort's evil power backfired and he killed himself instead of Harry. Harry is then taken from his home and taken to his evil relatives. When he was eleven, Harry got a letter from the famous Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry. The letter invited Harry to come and attend the school.
On his way to Hogwarts, Harry met some other young people that he never knew before and they all became very good friends. Harry and his friends worked together and his friends helped Harry get to where he needed to go. Near the end of the story Harry has to face the evil Voldimort and keep the sorcerer's stone away from Voldimort. Harry has to try and stay alive himself. The sorcerer's stone is a stone that, if Voldimort got hold of it, he would come back to life.
I think the Harry Potter books would be good books to read because if you like tales and fantasy you would like these books. The rest you will have to find out yourself.
My favorite part of the book was when Harry Potter met his enemy Lord Voldimort and his outer body/helper professor Qurill. Harry grabbed Qurill and passed out from the pain of his scar. This battle was exciting.
Read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It is an exciting, action-packed book.
