This book is about a family that was going to Texas and there was a little girl named Lindy. Her mom said that her Aunt Birdie is going to make chilli for her. When they got to Texas, Lindy's mom said to Aunt Birdie that Lindy wants the chilli a little hotter. When they got home they went to the garden. Aunt Birdie went to get the lemonade but when she got to the kitchen, she added alitle bit of chili powder to the chili. Then mom went to get the potato pie, she added a little bit of chili powder. Then Lindy went to wash her hands and she added a little bit of chili powder. If you want to find out what happens next, go check it out!!!!!!!!!

I like this book because it's interesting; it tells me to not put too much chilli powder in my food. It's also fun to read and it reminds me of when I ate spicy sushi. Also I like this book because when they all ate the chilli they were surprised!

I think this book is for kids that like their family and who like to eat hot food.
