Big Fat Hen wants to be helpful! So, when Hairy Goat says, "I want a juicy green cabbage for my breakfast!" she opens the gate to the farmer’s garden, where cabbages grow. My favourite part of the story is when Spotty Pig and Brown Cow come in, too--and they won't stop eating. They will finish all the cabbages.
My favourite character is wise old dog because he is good. I like the pictures in this book because they are funny and colourful. It is fun to learn the nursery rhyme and sing along.
I think little boys and girls would like this book because fun and interesting. It teaches children to count and sing.
