Junie B., First Grader Boss of Lunch

This story is about a girl named Junie B. She is in the first grade. Her best friend is Herb and her worst enemy is May. May sits by Junie B. in class. She brought her new lunch box to school one day. She could not wait to eat out of her own lunch box. Then May told Junie B. that “bought lunches are better than brought lunches”. Did Junie B. fight back? You have to read this book to find out.

I love this book because when Junie B. shined Mr. Scary's shoes it made me laugh. My favorite part is when Junie B. poured food on her brother because it was creamed corn and it was mushy and messy. I liked the illustrations because they were made like cartoons and they made me laugh. This book is part of the Junie B. series and they are all funny and fun to read. It reminded me of our cafeteria because some people have lunch boxes and some have school lunches.

I recommend this book to kids who love Junie B. and who love fun stories. I recommend this for ages 8 and up. I hope you enjoy this book!!
