I read the story "Frindle" by Andrew Clements. The book tells about a boy named Nick Allen who makes up his own word called frindle which means pen. The big idea in the story is that Nick made a word called frindle. He learned it is easier for grown ups to change things than for kids.
My favorite part was when Nick made the classroom into a tropical island because it's very creative and funny. I liked the book because it's very funny. Silly things happened in the story that made me laugh. This book reminds me of when I was three because I was just like Nick. I did a whole bunch of funny things, and I made my own ideas.
I recommend this book to ages seven or older who like funny books.
