The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

I really liked the book The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. The themes were love, loss, and longing. Edward tells the stars “I have been loved.” This is a fiction book because rabbits do not have feelings. The setting was Egypt Street, the dump, and the sea. I felt bad for Edward when Lolly threw Edward in the trash.

My opinion of Edward Tulane is that if Edward Tulane was alive, and Edward Tulane could walk, Edward could’ve thrown Martin and Amos off the boat and could’ve thrown Lolly in the trash. My favorite character in this book is Edward because Edward got to be with a lot of people and the people loved Edward. Other books by Kate DiCamillo are: The Tiger Rising, Because of Winn-Dixie, and The Tale of Desperueax.

I recommend this book for all ages because I think everyone would like Edward Tulane. I hope you enjoy this book like I did!
