The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

There is a little girl that lives on Egypt Street named Abilene. Abilene owns a china rabbit named Edward. He has very fancy clothes, and he doesn’t love anyone but himself. Soon he doesn’t have Abilene anymore, and he’s in a deep dark place. After, Edward is in a place that has dolls and toys. Someone comes to buy him.

Kate DiCamillo wrote lots of other books, and two of them are The Tiger Rising and Because of Winn-Dixie. My favorite part is when Edward was bought by someone because it’s so surprising. I like this book because I have never read a book like it. I learned that if you are selfish, bad things will happen to you.

I recommend this book to people that like suspense because at the end of each chapter you wonder what will happen next. The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is interesting because there are more than two settings.
