Just Plain Fancy

A girl who likes fancy stuff named Naomi wanted something fancy. The problem is that everything is plain. So, she looked for something fancy. Then, she found a fancy egg which hatched into a fancy chick but, she finds out that being fancy is wrong. What will she do next?

I felt happy that Naomi found the egg because, she wanted something fancy. My favorite part is when the egg hatched because I wanted to see what the chick looked like. I like this book because it has a lot of emotion in it.

I would recommend this book because it has lots of emotion in it. I would recommend this book to children ages 7-9 who like Patricia Polacco books because it has lots of details in it. The setting might interest readers because it might have happened in the 1960s.
