Marie Antoinette

If you like to read diaries written by real people, this is the book for you. This book is the diary of Marie Antoinette. IN the book Marie lies in a castle in 1769. She has 16 brothers and sisters, and her mother wants all of them to be married to royals. Marie's mother wants her to marry someone very powerful. After months of waiting for a response, France finally responds. Marie becomes queen, but there are twists and turns that come with it.

I thought this book was amazing. I liked this book because it was a diary, and it tells about history. My favorite part was when she got to see her aunt she had never seen before. It was my favorite part because the aunt was really nice, and Marie really enjoyed her. Once character that changed was Louis XIV. At first he hardly talked to Marie, and then they became best friends.

I recommend this book for elementary school kids in 2nd through 5th grades. It will interest you, but like all good books, you have to read a little to get really interested.
