Miss Mary Scary

The book is about Miss Mary, she comes in to be a student teacher. She’s Mr. Klutz’s daughter; Mr. Klutz is the principal. She is from England and she is goth. Her boyfriend comes to visit even though her mom didn’t want them to be together. Zack had to hide because Mr. Klutz was coming because Mr. Klutz doesn’t want Zack to be Miss Mary’s boyfriend. Miss Mary and Zack got married and they went away and Mr. Klutz started crying and then AJ needed to use the bathroom. AJ went to the bathroom and someone flushed the toilet next to him – when he opened it, he saw a ghost. “Do you eat kids” asked AJ. The ghost said, “No but I do eat kids for dinner and dinner’s about to happen.” AJ ran and screamed out of the bathroom. He wanted to go to Antarctica and live with penguins because penguins are cool. He ran into the classroom and was thinking that maybe the boy’s bathroom in the school is haunted.

My opinion of this book is that it is scary when AJ is in the bathroom because there was a ghost. Miss Mary is goth. Miss Mary doesn’t talk like people from England but she is from England. She talks boy-ish. I liked the book because I read the book around Halloween and it made me freak out. It was fun. I did not like Miss Mary’s father because he doesn’t let his daughter do what she wants to do. Miss Mary did not want to be a teacher.

I would recommend this book to my friend because she likes funny stories and she likes the Weird School Daze books. She likes funny people, like AJ, so she will like this book. I would recommend this book to my brother because he likes scary books. I would recommend it because this book is scary.
