There is a wizard apprentice that goes to a fortune teller who tells him he's going to be burned by a dragon. The apprentice runs away and finds shelter with a strange girl in a tree house. She finds out he is a wizard.
She has to hide him from her mother. He transforms into a bird when her mom comes to the tree house. The girl finally lets her family meet him one night at dinner.
One day she returns to the tree house and finds him gone. Her family searches all over for him. At the end of the story she saves him from the dragon.
I would not change a thing about this story because I liked everything about it. My favorite part is when he almost got run over by the train and is saved by his friend because it is very exciting. My favorite character is the wizard because he is fast and energetic. I don't like the girl's mom because she does not have a large role in the story.
This story relates to my life because I almost died once too. I think you should read this story because the author uses lots of details to make the reader feel like he is a part of the story.
