Have you ever had someone be mean to you? This book talks about all kinds of mean people. In the book it shows mean people can be tall and short. The friends of the rabbit whisper mean things to the rabbit. They also shout mean things. The main idea of the book is that the rabbit smiles anyway even though the people are mean. The characters are rabbits. They wear clothes like people.

I like this book because it reminds me of when my sister is mean to me. I dislike the mom because she was mean to the rabbit. I dislike the friends because they whisper mean things about the rabbit. I like the rabbit because they wear clothes like people. This book was boring because it was too easy to read.

I recommend this book to 1st graders because it is an easy book to read.
