This story is about a man who loves to paint. He paints penguins, puddles, eggs, and chickens. People like to buy his paintings. A man with black clothes walks in and is asked if he wants to buy some of the paintings. He tells the painter that he does not have any money with him. He gets mad and leaves. Then a woman walks in with her black umbrella and asks the man if she can help with the paintings.
This story is very interesting because the pictures of the chickens are colorful. This book is not like any other book I have every red because the chickens are different. Some of them have black feathers. My favorite part of this book is that the farmer gets the money he needs to live on a farm.
I would recommend this book to anyone of any grade or age. Even grown-ups might like it. I think other people would like reading this book because they might like the animals and the pictures.
