The Million Dollar Putt

This is a story about a kid named Bogey who was blind, Birdie, his new neighbor heard him playing his guitar one day and went next door to see what was going on. Bogey and Birdie grew to be good friends although they had nothing in common. Bogey and Birdie both learned to play golf. Bogey entered them in a golf tournament because he needed her to make the calls on the shots. Well, Birdie passed out when Bogey was at the million-dollar hole and you’ll have to read the book to find out if he makes the winning putt or will he lose to Hunter {his challenger}. His last hope might be his dad.
I really like this book. My favorite part was when Bogey taught Birdie to ride a bike and play the guitar. That seems like a normal thing between friends but remember, Bogey is blind and she needed her blind friend to help her. My favorite person in the story is Bogey because he is blind but he can do more than you might think. This book taught me that people should not limit themselves by what they can do. There may be more things that they can do that they just are to afraid to try.
I would recommend this book to anyone who would like to know what blind kids can do and who likes comedies.
