Thomas's Snowsuit

Have you ever worn something that you just didn't like? Well, Thomas thinks his snowsuit is the ugliest snowsuit he has ever seen. Thomas' mother got Thomas in one hand and the snowsuit in the other. She tried to stick them together. They had an enormous fight. When it was done, Thomas was wearing his snowsuit. When he got to school all the kids hung up their snowsuits, especially Thomas. When it was time for recess, Thomas didn't put on his snowsuit. His teacher told Thomas to put on his snowsuit, but Thomas said no. The teacher picked up Thomas in one hand and the snowsuit in the other. She tried to stick them together. They had an enormous fight. When they were done, the teacher was wearing Thomas' snowsuit and Thomas was wearing the teacher's dress. They needed the principal to help them. Will they ever get Thomas to put on his snowsuit?

We like this book because it is very funny. We laughed at the part when first Thomas did not like the snowsuit. The illustrations were silly. We both liked the picture of the teacher and Thomas in their underclothes. Thomas is silly because he does not want to put on the snowsuit. It is just a snowsuit. It reminds Nicole of her jacket. When she tries to put it on she gets stuck and can't breathe. Naveen likes all of his clothes so he doesn't understand why Thomas does not want to wear his snowsuit.

We recommend this book to people who like silly stories and who like to laugh a lot. This book is good for first and second graders. When you read this book, you will want to read it again and again!
