The Case of the Bicycle Bandit

The Case of the Bicycle Bandit by James Preller is a fantastic book to read! Ralphie and Jigsaw went to the library to find a book to do a report, and guess what happened? Raphine's bike was gone! They looked everywhere and could'nt find it. Jigsaw wanted to solve the case so he called Mila. Mila first asked, "Ralphie did you forget to lock up your bike?" Ralphie remembered locking up his bike and Jigsaw's. Someone had stolen Ralphie's bike and now they had to figure out who did it. So they went to the park to ask questions. While they were at the park, they met Mrs. Flint. Mrs. Flint described the thief, and Geetha drew his picture on the posters. They put the posters all over the park.. Will Jigsaw and Mila find Ralphie's bike? Read this story to find out .

You must read The Case of the Bicycle Bandit because it's a fantastic book! The author described how the characters felt. Instead of just coming out and saying they are happy, sad, etc. The author wrote, "Ralphie's chin was buried in his hands" when his bike got stolen. Also, "Ralphie's eardrums almost burst from wild, joyous screams" when then they found the bike. The illustrations are great because the faces show a lot of expressions. You can see how Ralphie's face was so sad because Ralphie's head was in his hands on page nine. Jigsaw was afraid of being found in the bicycle theif's garage because Jigsaw 's heart was beating extremely fast. I like this book because it was suspensful and there were clues given about the mysteries. On page eighteen, there was a secret code. It was awsome decoding it! On page forty-four, Geetha drew the bicycle theif and the children wondered if they would find the theif. So you can see The Case of the Bicycle Bandit is a fantastic book because it has good descriptions about characters, contains excellent illustrations, and is suspenseful!

I recommend this book to anyone who has ever had their bike stolen and if you like a good mystery .You will feel anxious to find out who stole Ralphie's bike, and you won't be able to stop reading until you do! Read The Case of the Bicycle Bandit!
