Stuart Little is an adventurous little mouse who can talk to people. He and his "human" family, the Littles, find a sick bird named Margalo and they cure her. Margalo gets scared of the Little's cat Snowbell and flies away. Stuart ran away from home to look for Margalo and gets lost. He finds a small town called Ames Crossing and discovers people as short as himself. I liked this book because it has a lot of adventures. The unique part of this book was that it was first checked out from my school in 1982 and was first written in 1945. This book is not like any other I have read because it's the BEST book I have ever read! My favorite part was when Stuart steered a model sailboat across Central Park Lake and won a race.
I would recommend this book because it is such a good book. I think third graders and up would enjoy this book, especially those who like adventures.
