The Enchanted Tree

Once there was a giraffe who felt like she didn't fit in. She was so tall and pink. She didn't look like any other giraffe. She wanted to be prettier and graceful and to be like everyone else. One day she was crying in the forest and met the Enchanted Tree. It told her a secret to help her. It told her magical stories about how being different was a wonderful gift. The Enchanted Tree made her feel special and happly about herself. She went back to her village to share the secret she learned from the Enchanted Tree.

My favorite part of the story is when the giraffe met the Enchanted Tree. I liked it because the tree helped her feel better about herself. He made her feel happy. My favorite character was the Enchanted Tree. I liked him because he was helpful and nice. My least favorite character was the giraffe because she tried to hide who she was. This story relates to my life because sometimes I don't fit in. I have felt like the giraffe when I went to tumbling class. I didn't know how to do a cartwheel and felt like I didn't fit in because everyone else knew how. The story has picturs that helped tell it.

I think you should read this story because it tells you that you are beautiful in every way. It also tells you that you can always fit in, no matter what.
