The Gorillas of Gill Park

Willy Wilson lives in a normal house, in a normal neighborhood, and normally gets along with his normal parent. His life is, well normal. Then, all of a sudden, his Aunt Bridget is going nuts because she has to make thirty gorilla costumes. She invites Willy to stay a while in her tiny apartment in the big city of Gloria. Before Willy knows it, normal Willy Wilson has stumbled on an extraordinary mystery involving a strange millionaire, a hot tempered orphan (who he plays baseball with), musical instruments, and the future of Gill Park. Willy has a plan that can save the park?if he can only find the right costume.

As I read this book, it made me think of my own life. I go and see many baseball games. Even Willy?s practices, where his coach pushes them to do well. One thing unique about the story is it keeps you on your toes. You want to know what happens next. There is a girl in the book that I can totally relate to. I?m not proud to say, but like Liesl, I?m hot-headed and get mad easily.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to read interesting books. If you play baseball or any other sport, you will enjoy this book. If you want to know more about what happens in the story, you will have to read this book to find out!
