Thank You Mr. Falker

Since the main character’s brother can do things better than her like read, she thinks she will never be able to read. When she meets someone special her whole life changes. Then when she goes to a wedding the main character meets the special person again and starts talking to the special person. The main character tells the special person that he had helped her a lot during the main characters child hood. Then she goes home, she gets in bed, and starts thinking about what had happened that day.

We like this book because it encourages people to learn how to do things. Patricia Polacco's stories also talk about her life. You see what she had trouble with when she was younger. We also like this book because she never gave up on anything, just like reading.

We recommend this book to people that want to learn. We also recommend this to maybe ages 6 and up. We give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
