Edward is a boy in the book. He really likes to read. Edward likes to use his imagination. Like he thinks he sees a T-Rex outside his window when he is reading. Edward goes to the library and gets a book about gold and treasure. The pirates see him at the library. He is reading his book in bed and the pirates come! They want his book! Edward says no. The pirates tell him they will give him a piece of gold. The end of the book is a surprise...

I liked Edward the best, because he is brave. He tells the pirates no and he is not scared. My favorite part of the book is when Edward's parents come dressed up in costumes, like in books. They look real. I think my brother Jacob would like this book because he likes action, and this is an action book!
