When Henry went to see his Grandma he thought she might make his dog Mudge sleep outside. Henry felt lost without Mudge. Henry?s father put Mudge outside when he knocked things over. Read the book to see how things turn out.
I liked the way the author describes the way the country looks. It was funny when Mudge knocked over a bowl of peppermints and they went everywhere. I know how Henry feels when he is scared to sleep in a strange house. I do too.
I recommend this book to kids who like to read about dogs.
