Genies Don't Ride Bicycles

Genies Don't Ride Bicycles was about some kids who had big wishes. They wanted candy for lunch, to get a new car, their mean teacher to become nice, and to get a certain yard clean. One day they found a green bottle stuck in a tree and they tried to pull it out. They opened it up and it really stunk. Something amazing began to happen.

My favorite person was Eddie. I liked him because when he got mad, he called people names. He was hysterical. Let me tell you one thing before you read this book. Eddie is a sour skittle because he snaps at people when he doesn't get his way. I felt sad because I don't have a genie for my friend and I have big wishes just like the kids in this book. I loved the author's touch of realistic fiction.

I'd recommend this book to a person with big wishes just like the kids in the book. You could connect with them in this book because you might have the same wishes.
