Well, in the book Where the Sidewalk Ends, there are lots of funny poems. There are some nice poems in the book too. There's one poem that's called, "Us" and it is two people and they like different things and they are in the same body. Like one likes to dance and one likes to ski. I like a line and it's funny too. It goes like this, " I want to sleep and he wants to pee."
Another funny poem is called "Smart". It's about a boy and he thinks he's so smart. His father gave him a dollar and he traded it for two quarters because he knows that two is more than one. He traded his two quarters for three dimes. And three dimes for four nickels. Four nickels for 5 pennies. Then he goes home and his dad gets "red in his cheeks and closes his eyes and shook his head" and the boy thinks, "He's too proud of me to speak". There are other funny poems too. The pictures describe the words. I really like the book because I like to read poems and I love to read funny poems a lot.
I think people would like the book because the poems are funny and will make them laugh too!
