This book is about a man named Mr. Putter and a cat named Tabby. Mr. Putter was very hot because it was summer. Mr. putter had an idea. He went to the big pond with his neighbor Mrs. Teaberry and her dog Zeke. In the middle of the book Mr. Putter was had a picnic. In the last chapter called, "Much Better", it was time to row the boat back home and they were hot again. Mr. Putter had an idea. He was going to the big pond with his neighbors Mrs. Teaberry and Zeke.

This book was a good book because Tabby batted the bug and Zeke drank from the pond.

My favorite part was when Zeke drank from the pond, and I like him because of it. I also liked Mr. Putter because he always has ideas. The illustrations are good because they look nice.
