Brown Cow, Green Grass, Yellow Mellow Sun

This story is about a sun, a cow, a boy, a granny and the green grass. It tells us that the grass grew big because the sun made it grow. The cow ate the green grass. Then the boy milked the cow. He gave the milk to his granny and she made butter.

My favorite part of the book is when the cow ate the grass. It shows what cows need to live and make milk.

The illustrations are good drawings because she painted them. She did a lot of work for a short story. I think the drawings are fun. She made the cow get big when she ate the grass. That is cool!

I think this book is unique because of the pictures. The pictures look like something I have never seen before.

I like this book because of the recipes in the back of the book. It tells you how to make butter and pancakes. You can make the butter yourself and then eat it on the pancakes. I made butter myself and that helped me enjoy the book more.

I would recommend that people who like butter would like this book because it tells how butter is made. Happy reading and eating!!
