Fresh Fall Leaves

What is your favorite time of the year? The book Fresh Fall Leaves is a celebration of the fall and the exciting outdoor activities children create. The two children in the book take backstage to the beauty of nature and fall leaves in which they run, jump, battle and bury themselves in.

As the reader I identified with the boy in the book. When I read this book I wonder how it would be to be the boy running through the leaves, crunching them and throwing them in the air. I was born in the midwest but now I live in southern California. I miss the seasons like the fall. In the fall, the leaves on the trees change colors from red to orange to yellow. The best part about playing in the leaves is crunching them with your feet. It's better than computer games!

I recommend this book to other kids who enjoy the fall time of year and playing outside. It is a short book and leaves me wanting more and more! You will really like the illustrations!
