Tacky and the Emperor

Tacky the penguin was telling really bad penguin jokes with his other friends Goodly, Lovely, Angel, Neatly and Perfect. A messenger bird landed where Tacky was telling his bad jokes. The messenger bird read, "The emperor is coming to visit. Like tomorrow." All the penguins got prepared. Tacky was blowing a huge balloon! All of a sudden he came flying from one iceberg to another. He landed on the edge of the emperor's castle but never realized it. He found the emperor's clothes and decided to put them on and wadled back to his iceberg. The other penguins thought Tacky was the emperor and threw the party without noticing the Hawaiian shirt. What will happen when the real emperor comes?

We like the book because the pictures are really funny and hilarious. Charlie thought it was really funny when the messenger bird lands beak first. Andie thought it was funny when Tacky sat on the emperor's chair and made a game of it. Joslyn thought it was funny when he gobbled up all the food.

We recommend this book to everyone who enjoys being funny. We also recommend it to all ages. We think you will like this book.
