Lost Star: the Story of Amelia Earhart

Have you ever heard of Amelia Earhart? Well in this book you'll learn all about her. When she was little she loved to build things. Once she built a mini roller coaster that she could ride on. Amelia was a good student. She never wanted to fall behind. She also loved animals. Once on a school day she saw a horse that wasn't being fed so she spent all afternoon feeding it. When she got older she got a job to pay for flying lessons. When she attempted the first flight trip around the world she and her copilot, Fred Noonan got lost and were never found again. Read the book to find out more about her life and records.

This book is OK if you like biographies. Sometimes the characters might relate to you or your friends because they might have the same personality. My favorite part is when they landed in Wales and no one paid attention to them. One of the characters is like my friend because of his competitiveness.

I recommend it if you like history.
