Bees make honey with nectar mixed with saliva. The honey thickens in the cells. The queen will be surrounded by little bees. The queen lays eggs. The metamorphosis occurs in the sealed brood cells. The queen is always surrounded. You can't touch the queen.
I liked the book, because it had good pictures. It reminds me of books by the same publisher. I read a spider book that had the same publisher. My favorite part was when they showed me the bee dance. The dance goes like this: wiggle, wiggle, waggle, waggle, round and round. The illustrator drew good pictures.
I think a kid would like this book.
