Ivy and Bean

Do you wish you could meet a ghost? Well, this book is about two second grade girls, named Ivy and Bean, who do! One day one of the girls went to the bathroom. She saw a big group of smoke. It was saying, “Get out of here! This bathroom is cursed!”

I like this book because it was funny and fun! One part of the book that was funny, but also a bit scary, was when Ivy and Bean made a potion to make the ghosts disappear. This book reminds me of a friend I had in second grade. We would always find things together and do things like Ivy and Bean do in the story.

This book would be good for 2nd and 3rd graders. People who like funny books should read this book. This book is similar to the Junie B. Jones books because they are both funny and in one Junie B. Jones book there was also a ghost.
