Charlotte's Web

This story is about a pig named Wilbur that lived in a barn with other farm animals. Wilbur became very sad and scared when he found out he would be killed and eaten. As a result, Charlotte, a spider from the barn cellar decided to help her friend Wilbur. Charlotte decided to write creative things on her web about Wilbur, so that the owners would not kill him. Charlotte wrote many clever things about Wilbur and everyone thought it was a miracle and that Wilbur was a great pig. Charlotte dies at the end of the story, but she did save Wilbur's life.

My favorite part of the story was when Charlotte wrote clever things about Wilbur on her web. Charlotte was a very smart and helpful spider. I learned that it is very important to be nice to other and to help your friends.

I think all students should read this book because it teaches kids about friendship and love.
