The Purple Coat

This story is about a girl named Gabrielle who goes on two trains with her Mama to visit her Grampa. When they got to their Grampa's shop, they ate salami sandwiches. Then Gabrielle asked her Grampa to make her a purple coat. Mama and Gabrielle helped Grampa put on buttons and navy sleeves. Will she like her purple coat or not? I liked the way she and her Grampa decorated the jacket she was making. This story reminded me of when I want something. It also reminded me of when my little sister, Kendell, wants something. My mom sometimes tell my sister and me, "Don't push your luck!" just like Grampa tells Gabrielle.
