Lunch Walks Among Us (Franny K. Stein, Mad Scientist #1)

Franny is a mad scientist. She makes this weird invention because she wants to make friends. Franny is a girl and her room is her laboratory. Her mom always cleans Franny’s room. Everyday she somehow manages to put away all of the laboratory stuff in her room. She has made all these experiments in her laboratory! And her mom always says, “Is there a bat store around here?” One of Franny’s experiments was that made a tarantula into a huge tarantula, and she also made a fish that ate with white sharp teeth into a fish that can fly in the air! She knows how to do this because she has a book about making monsters!

I like this book because a girl named Franny K. made this antidote to make herself into a nice little girl. My favorite part is when Franny is making a monster out of the kid’s lunches. The monster than battles another monster… and they fight in school. Franny’s little brother reminds me of my sister. He is annoying and so is my sister.

I recommend this book to kids that like experiments a lot. People will enjoy all the experiments that Franny makes. This book will be just right for them. This book is about a girl named Franny, and it is the first day of school. She tries to make friends, but the kids don’t want to be her friend because they think she is creepy. Will Franny make any friends at her new school? Well, you will have to read this book to find out…
