Trick or Treat Little Critter

In this story a family is getting ready for Halloween. They went to a store to find their costumes and get some candy. The big brother picked out a pirate costume, the sister picked a princess costume, and dad got a silly mask. Then they went to a farm and picked out pumpkins to carve. Then their dad took them trick-or-treating and the boy got a big hole in his bag of candy. He was so sad but his sister shared her candy with him.

My favorite part of this book is when the dad picked out a scary mask for Halloween because he looked scary. When they went to look for costumes it reminds me of when I picked out my Halloween costume. This book reminds me of going trick-or-treating and gets me very excited to go this year!

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes dressing up and going trick-or-treating. I think kids who are going to be a pirate or a princess for Halloween would like this book.
