The Tenth City

The Tenth City by Patrick Carman is the third book of The Land of Elyon Series. It is about a girl named Alexa Daley. Alexa is on her way to save her friend, Yipes, from evil Victor Grindall. Victor wants to destroy The Lan of Elyon and rule it himself. Alexa, Armon, Warvold, Balamore, Odessa, Squire, Murphy, and Yipes all fight to defeat him and save The Land of Elyon.

I like this book because it is an adventure, and every sentence is a new surprise. The characters are brave and strong. I also like when Alexa finds out that Warvold is her real father. Now she knows why Warvold always gave her special things and why she went on special adventures.

I recommend this book to people who like to read about adventures and surprises. This series is very good and exciting to read. You will not want to put this book down once you pick it up!
